VIGAN CITY – Three people were injured in an accident happened in Barangay Paing, Bantay, Ilocos Sur involving a white Nissan Navara Pick-up.
The driver was identified as Kriszel Ville Aguilar Barnachea, 26, loan officer of Ilocos Consolidated Cooperative Bank, and resident of Barangay Cabulanglangan, Tagudin.
Police also identified the passengers as Kimberly Joy Balayo Elecho, 28, resident of Zone 6, Caramutan, Villasis, Pangasinan; and Jerry Pul-ong Malamion Jr., 24, resident of Barangy Palacpac, Candon City.
Based from the CCTV footage gathered from the Command Center of LGU-Bantay, Ilocos Sur, said vehicle was heading towards west and upon the curve portion of the road, the driver lost control his driven vehicle due to slippery road condition (wet) then crashed to the cemented railings along the way causing it to overturned.
As a result, the driver and passengers sustained injuries and they were brought to Metro Vigan Hospital, Bantay, Ilocos for medical treatment.
The involved vehicle incurred heavy damages.
