Bureau of Fire Protection-Ilocos Sur receives brand new fire trucks

VIGAN CITY – The Bureau of Fire Protection -Ilocos Sur has received a total of six fire trucks from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

Provincial Fire Director Fire Superintendent Floro Obrero said in an interview that the six fire trucks will be distributed to six municipal fire stations in the province which include fire station in the municipality of Caoayan, Cabugao, San Esteban, Sta. Lucia, Sta. Cruz and Snatiago.

He added that each of the fire trucks worth PHP14,989,000 and it has a capacity of 1,000 gallons which can suppress highly flammable fires.

Obrero thanked the DILG for the brand new fire trucks that will be a big help in their efforts to ensure public safety.
